RICHARD ALEXANDER – Design Director
Over the past 15 years Richard Alexander’s passion for design has allowed him to engage in a diverse and imaginative range of projects. With training and experience in carpentry, industrial design, film art direction, model making, architectural drafting and interior design, Richard has developed skills in various disciplines and has worked with the top design firms in Australia.
Richard founded his own business in 2003 and has gone on to become a hands-on Design Director, involved in each stage of a project. His direction covers every aspect, from concept, design development and the tender and construction process. Working in collaborative partnership with all his Clients, Richard is focused on commercial objectives and on forging the creative identity of each new project. His ability to both interpret Clients’ specific objectives and translate these into innovative customer experiences, is what makes Richard Alexander Design so successful.
As well as running his own thriving business, Richard is an active humanitarian. Richard volunteers for projects overseas and has recently volunteered his design and construction expertise to help build a homes and schools for children in Kathmandu, Nepal.
